My husband is currently working as a welder/metal fabricator. He loves his new job, and even on the days that he works 12+ hours in 90+ degree weather, he still comes home in a good mood. But I have a feeling today is going to be one of the best days he’s had since being on this job. His boss called him yesterday and said he picked up a new toy for the guys over the weekend that should help them at work. When my husband asked what it was, he about jumped out of the chair when his boss said he had picked up a plasma cutting machine. That will really help him and the guys when they’re doing metal fabricating!

My shop manager is also a landlord. He owns several rental homes and a few apartment buildings as well. The other day he was telling me about how someone managed to get break into the cbu mailboxes at one of his apartment buildings this past week. The mailboxes were already installed when he purchased the building and he said he didn’t know where to go or look to find new ones to replace the damaged ones. Do you think he’ll give me a finders fee for finding them for him? LOL

Between his job and his classes my hubby has to haul his tools all over the place these days. While it’s not a bad thing, it is kind of a pain because his tool box isn’t in the best of shape and it would be quite embarrassing to have it fall open or bust in class or on the job site. So I’ve been looking around online for portable tool storage for him. He doesn’t want anything fancy, just something sturdy that will carry what he needs to have with him.

We’ve had, what seems like, tons of phone problems lately. First there was a surge through our phone lines that zapped our cordless phone that had a built in answering machine. After 2 days with no dial tone on the phone line the phone company suggested that we start unplugging our phones one by one to see if we get a dial tone back, which is what finally proved that phone had been zapped.

Now the cordless phone we have left is starting to not hold it’s charge, which has sent me shopping for a new cordless phone battery. Fortunately replacing a battery is not only easy, but also much less expensive than replacing the phone!

I knew when I bought my new printer in May that it would be used, and one of the reasons I purchased the brand of printer that I did was because of it’s inexpensive ink cartridges. Since my cartridges are getting low and I’m only a couple of weeks away from starting another semester of college I’ve been shopping around online for the replacement ink cartridges.

Inkers offers a complete selection of not only inkjet cartridges, but also toner cartridges and just about every other type of ink supply that is needed for all printers, fax machines and copiers. Their prices are extremely reasonable, and they offer a 100% guarantee against defect for one full year and even have a thirty day no questions asked return policy.

You can’t go wrong with guarantees like that! So I made sure that I grabbed more than one cartridge while shopping with them, that way I know I won’t run out of ink this semester!
