Holly’s Happenings

The latest news on Lindsay Lohan is that she has left the latest in a string of drug rehabs that she has been in and out of. At least this time she stayed almost 2 months. But the question is, will it work this time? So many of the young people from Hollywood just cannot seem to get their lives together. If only they would take a look at the young people who look up to them and think of them as role models and realize that they aren’t setting the type of example we would hope for!

I knew getting our new house clean was going to require a TON of work and even more scrubbing.  What I didn’t realize was that it was possible to scrub so much that I would make my finger tips raw.  I have 2 finger tips on my right hand that are raw and have split.  The pain is unbelievable!  And before you ask, no, I wasn’t wearing rubber gloves.  I know that if I’d have actually worn the gloves that I bought, I probably wouldn’t be having this problem right now.

In other news, the house is coming along nicely.  I was finally able to tear down this corner shelf thing that was in my bedroom taking up way too much room.  I ended up putting it back together in the corner of the kitchen and I’m going to use it for a food pantry.  Even the hubby said it will work awesome for that, so I do have some good ideas from time to time!

Today my hope is to finish getting the kitchen done, I’m tired of the boxes being piled sky high in it…LOL!
